Community Involvement

New Mexico’s independent automobile dealers are deeply committed to their communities, providing time, energy and capital to support and improve the daily lives of their neighbors.  From directing coat and school supply drives to supporting kids’ sports to donating vehicles to those in need, our industry is committed to supportive community involvement.

Likewise, the NMIADA is actively involved with our member dealers in their efforts to make a positive impact in the community.  In 2018 & 2019, NMIADA worked with dealer members in a diaper drive for low income families, delivered over 230 new coats to kids in our neighborhood Title I elementary school, presented hundreds of dollars in school supplies to a low-income high school in Albuquerque, donated to food banks and added our personal efforts to non-profit operations.  Our work includes supporting homeless vets, camp attendance for low-income children, and efforts to reduce neighborhood crime.

If you are a member of NMIADA and are planning a community effort, please let us know.  We want to be involved!  Have you participated in a meaningful way in your community that you would like to share with other dealers?  Do you see a need that you would like NMIADA to address?  If so, please click on the button below and send us an email, or call us on 505-232-0809.

Because charity begins at home, NMIADA’s Board of Directors has recently created a new Emergency Relief Fund to support dealer members of the NMIADA.  The purpose of this fund is to assist dealers that have had a significant emergency which affects their lives and businesses.  Grants will be made on application to the Association and approval by the Executive Committee of the NMIADA Board of Directors.  If you or a dealer you know could benefit from the Emergency Relief Fund, please click on the button below and send us an email or call and speak to an NMIADA team member.
