Title Transfer Requirements
Our title department is here to make your job easier. We strive to get your title work done efficiently and correctly. We asked that you have the following documents when bringing in your title work.
These forms are required.
- Completed Title Application
- Retail Purchase Agreement/Dealer’s Sales Invoice
- Title or MSO/MCO
- Proof of Insurance
- Copy of Driver’s License of Purchaser
- Emission document (if Bernalillo County)
Optional Information or documents
- Power of Attorney
- Dealer Bill of Sale (if the title has not been signed by selling customer)
- Odometer Statement
- Affidavit of Reposession
- Proof of Residence (if address is PO Box)(2 required)
- Vin Inspection (if out of state title)
- Proof of Trade in
- Release of Lien (if applicable)
- Lien Holder Information
